All About Intravenous (I.V.) Infusion Nutritional Therapy?
I.V. nutritional therapy is a low-risk procedure where we are giving vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. This process bypasses the G.I. tract (stomach) which means there is an 100% absorption rate directly into body, creating an efficent and effective procedure. Administered by a registered nurse, the effects are felt immediately and can be felt up to one week after infusion.
